Scarabs is a newsletter devoted to all aspects of scarab beetles and is targeted for professional and amateur scarab workers. Though Scarabs was originally conceived as a printed document that was mailed to a few friends of the editors, the newsletter has gradually expanded its scope to include items of interest to scarabaeologists the world over. Another goal is to further unify the already close-knit group of scarab enthusiasts. Because of this expanded scope, we have put Scarabs in PDF form where it can be downloaded from the Internet.

Unlike other beetle newsletters, we try to blend useful and interesting information with sporadic (and often pitifully contrived) humor.

Submissions are most welcome and appreciated. These can be e-mailed to Barney Streit as an e-mail or as an attached word processor file. Because Scarabs is now in color, we urge contributors to include a high-resolution
(300 dpi) photo of themselves.
